Oliver Peter

Oliver Peter is Director, Research Digitalization at Molecular Partners AG (Schlieren, Switzerland) since 2024.

He earned his PhD in Molecular Developmental Biology 1999 at University of Zurich and conducted postdoc studies at University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia). In 2002 he joined Axovan Pharmaceuticals (Allschwil), running a GPCR HTS lab. The company was bought by Actelion Pharmaceuticals, where he lead early small molecule drug discovery projects and from 2008, built up a state-of-the-art HTS and Compound Management Facility and the Research Biobank. 2018 he joined Idorsia Pharmaceuticals.

In 2023 Oliver explored ways to fund and establish an automated, Closed-Loop Design-Make-Test Platform for Peptides as an academia-pharma partnership lead by the University of Basel.
